Insecurity: Borno Nigeria’s most resilient state –Information Minister


The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has praised Borno State as Nigeria’s most resilient state, saying it has shown unmatched courage and determination in the face of adversity.

He said this during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Isa Kadafur on Wednesday, as part of the activities marking the meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Commissioners of Information Forum.

“Borno State is clearly Nigeria’s most resilient state, against the backdrop of the severe challenges it has experienced in the last decade,” he said in a statement signed by Rabiu Ibrahim,
Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation.

He commended the people of Borno for their perseverance and strength despite the hardships caused by insecurity in the region.

“The people of Borno State symbolize the strength and the staying power that Nigerians are imbued with,” the minister added.

He noted the need to speak proudly said f the people of Borno for their brave stance alin the face of adversity.
